About Julie: 

Dr. Julie A. Johnson is the Founder and Director of The Plymouth Center for Behavioral Health.

She attended The University of Hartford for her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology as well as her Master’s of Arts in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Johnson also holds a Master’s of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Lesley College. She did her Post-Doctorate work at the Center for Sexual Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Johnson is a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). Her areas of clinical focus are sex therapy, sexual health, couples therapy, adults, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, depression, anxiety and addiction. About John:

John J. Geary grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from Providence College in 1974. He earned his Master in Public Administration from the University of Rhode Island in 1977 and his Law Degree from Western New England School of Law in 1985. John is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

Prior to forming Geary & Associates, John was the Managing Attorney at Geary, Weafer & Garretson in Quincy, MA from 1989 to 1996. Geary, Weafer & Garretson was a 16 attorney insurance defense office dedicated to handling lawsuits for Aetna Casualty & Surety. Under John’s leadership, the office consistently achieved excellent trial results; over 300 cases were tried during this time period. The office also had an extensive Workers’ Compensation practice.

While at Geary, Weafer & Garretson, John obtained numerous Superior and District Court verdicts; many of these were high exposure cases (liability in excess of $100,000.00). John concentrated his personal practice on cases involving construction injuries, accidents involving the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act, Premises Liability and Negligent Security.

Since entering private practice in 1996, John has used his business, management and trial experience to bring quality legal services to clients from varied and diverse backgrounds. John’s practice is presently devoted primarily to the area of civil litigation, business law, criminal defense, person injury, estate planning and divorce.
