Clinical Interest / Expertise:
My clinical expertise includes education and skills working at inpatient hospital settings alongside hospitalists. In addition, I have experience in home care settings as a visiting and private duty nurse. In these settings, the patients were homebound, some with complex neurological diseases such as ALS. Recent work experience as an APRN includes geriatrics in assisted living and memory care units. Currently, I treat adult and gerontology patients with various mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, insomnia, schizophrenia, and OCD.

Clinical interests include women’s reproductive health, depression, anxiety, divorce, chronic mental health issues, cognitive disabilities, geriatrics. My career includes being clinical director of an outpatient mental clinic, running a partial hospital program, working in an ED doing emergency evaluations. I have been working as an outpatient mental health therapist for the past 20 years and this is where I feel I excel as a clinician.

I enjoy working with patients of all ages. My clinical expertise includes substance abuse and people with disabilities. I worked with adults in a Substance Abuse Medicated Assisted Treatment Center (MAT) doing group therapy, assessments, and treatment planning. I have experience with all ages and populations while working in an emergency room assisting physicians and nurses in crisis situations. I use my knowledge of these experiences to help my patients overcome obstacles and develop healthy strategies to balance life. I look forward to assisting you.

Clinical Interest / Expertise:
I enjoy working with the elderly population and have conducted assessments, treatment plans, secured community support, and was the protective service supervisor. In that role, I investigated abuse and neglect allegations in the community. I have experience with transitional age youth, 18-24 years of age at The Department of Mental Health (DMH). At DMH, I worked with people with major mental illness and was the eligibility determination specialist. I am proficient in state services including entitlements and support services. I often utilize this knowledge when helping my clients at PCBH in addition to providing therapy.
